Furnishing and other equipment
The apartments are furnished including basic cooking and household equipment. The beds have mattress, mattress cover, quilt/blanket and pillow but you need to bring your own sheets and towels. Deficiencies regarding the inventory should be reported to the reception. When a tenant leaves, damaged/missing items will be replaced and charged to the tenant. The tenant is responsible for keeping the apartment clean during the whole lease and for leaving it clean for the new tenant. All apartments are equipped with a vacuum cleaner, mop and pail. Vacuum bags are not provided.

Telephone/Broadband
You can order both telephone and Internet via Telia according to the costs listed at www.telia.se The tenant is responsible for all matters related to telephone and Internet connection and UAC will take no responsibility. There are also other suppliers on the market like Bahnhof, Tele2 etc.

Mobile broadband (HSDPA) is an alternative. Tre ( www.tre.se) has quite good conditions.

TV/Cable TV
The apartments and rooms are not equipped with TV-sets. If you decide to buy a TV, you will have access to the Swedish network.

Should you wish to add more channels, we suggest that you buy an indoor antenna and subscribe to Boxer. The TV license fee is to be paid by the tenant, who is to report the use of a TV to Radiotjänst i Kiruna AB by phone to 020-91 00 00 or by internet.

Miscellaneous
Never pour cooking oil down the kitchen drain as it will clog the pipes. Never throw diapers, sanitary pads/napkins or other objects into the toilet. Smoking being a serious health problem for many people we ask that you do not smoke in the apartment or in the common areas of the building.

Car parking
If you have a car and need a parking space, contact the StorStockholms Fastighets AB administrator at telephone 08-54 54 96 15. There is guest parking in the area.

Bicycle room
There is a room for bicycles at Olof af Acrels väg 7 situated in the basement. Take the stairs down to the basement, enter the door to the left marked EL, and you will find the bicycle room at the far end of the corridor, to the right. The apartment key (or the laundry room key) opens the door.

Laundry rooms
There is a laundry room at the far end of the right corridor on the first floor marked “TVÄTTSTUGA”, and you enter with one of your keys. There is a time schedule with key cylinders for laundry booking. Your key cylinder is usually marked with your apartment number. Please read the instructions carefully before using the machines. It is custom to clean the laundry room when you are done (sweeping the floor and wiping off the washing machines).

Garbage disposal

In the small gray house in front of the building there are containers for regular household garbage and for newspapers. You enter the garbage house with a door code. Each tenant must use plastic bags for the household garbage and seal them tightly before putting them into the containers. Everything should be neatly organized and put away. If you have any questions regarding sorting your garbage, please ask the reception. For most types of cans and bottles bought in Sweden you receive a refund at the grocery stores.

Smoke detectors
All apartments are equipped with smoke detectors. UAC checks the detector between tenants and the tenant is responsible for notifying UAC of any deficiency of the detector during the tenancy. If you hear a beeping sound, the battery of the detector needs to be exchanged. Please remove the battery and contact UAC.

Fire safety

In case of fire in your apartment, leave the apartment and close the door. Call 112.

In case of fire in the building and the staircase is filled with smoke, you should stay in your apartment and close doors and windows. The smoke is very dangerous. Call 112 and wait for help.

Never use the elevator if there is a fire in the building.

Shopping
There are a number of stores at Solna Centrum, open seven days a week. If you cross Solnabron towards the City and turn left to Norra Stationsgatan, you will find the supermarket PrisXTRA, where bus 73 has a stop close by.
