Rights and responsibilites

Tenants living in a housing area have to be considerate to one another and to the surroundings, and this is extra important when the common areas are shared.  For most people this is a question of common sense. In some situations it can however be helpful with common rules to refer to. The rules below are what we ask our tenants to follow in order to keep a good ambiance.

Disturbance

Music, dancing or other loud noise that might inconvenience other tenants must not be performed between 22.00 and 07.00.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in our rooms and apartments , nor in the common areas.

Pets

Pets are not allowed of any kind.

Common areas

Everyone using common areas (shared kitchen, tv-rooms, toilets, showers, laundry rooms, corridors) is responsible for keeping them clean and leaving them in good order after use.

Household waste

Waste-bags with household waste must be securely tied so that they do not leak and cause a bad smell.  They must not be placed in the stairwell but be placed in the assigned garbage room.

Recycling rooms

Glass bottles, paper and plastic are to be separated from the regular household waste and placed in the assigned containers in the garbage room.

Keep the doors closed!

Check that the front door closes behind you when you go in and out of the corridor and the building, to make it more difficult for burglars and uninvited guests to enter.  This is very important when living in a student corridor, where conflicts may arise if food or private belongings disappear.
